Civility and Politeness Week
In order to cultivate and practice the core socialist values, create the morality of 'Civility, Courtesy, Unity and Friendship', guide students to consciously abide by social ethics, regulate words and deeds, perform civil bus ride, treat others kindly as well as pay attention to campus safety and language civilization, Anqing Foreign Language School's Junior High Department of the west campus launched the 'Civility and Politeness Week' social practice in the eighth week of the academic year.
To be concrete, this civility and politeness week is featured in distinct theme and clear tasks. Initially at the flag-raising ceremony and the launching ceremony of 'Civility and Politeness Week' on 21st October, student Zhang Ziying from Class 1, Grade 8 made a speech on behalf of all the students with the title of 'Let the Flower of Civilization Blossom in Anqing Foreign Language School'. Then, Director Wang Shengxiang of the Moral Education Department delivered a keynote speech in which he required each class to organize students to learn the 'activity plan', hold a themed class meeting and make a themed blackboard newspaper. In addition, each student should check and correct themselves according to '18 Articles of Anqing Civilization', 'Rules for Primary and Secondary School Students' and 'Letter of Commitment of Anqing Foreign Language School's Students'. What's more, they were supposed to write a weekly report and actively participate in the excellent essay evaluation activity. Afterwards, Anqing Foreign Language School will commend the winning classes and the civilized models.
To conclude, through the joint efforts and solid work of all the teachers and students, it's believed that the civility and politeness education activities will not only become the driving force and propeller of Anqing Foreign Language School's ideological and moral education construction, but also become a new starting point and highlight of the harmonious campus construction.
